Notes (from bootlegger):
Rowdiest monday night crowd i've seen in years. There wasn't really a clue before the show, but once they get going there are huge bursts of affection for the man or just plain get it out of your system crazies. They yak, they scream, they holler and they love the new stuff. I had to move around a lot to avoid the real offenders, but there were about the right number of people in the place for that. The place was a little over half capacity and they sold out the last show he played here.
This was yet another night of equipment malfunction. Had to replace the battery in the CS battery box filter before the show and somehow nothing was copacetic after that. Spent 35 minutes pulling all the connections apart and putting them back together trying to get a signal in the left channel. Finally gave up when the set started, then after 1 song thought of 1 more thing and flipped the switch on the roll off filter and BAM! 2 channels! So the beginning of the tape is just the right channel in both sides with NO roll off filter (and you can hear why you need that!) and then near the very end of "Love Runs Deeper" we get switched to fabulous stereo. Also used about 10 seconds of persic's tape from UCLA to patch the hole I made switching the filter on. You'll hear that but I think it was worth it to get the solid stereo capture after.
Other than all that crap, no editing or post-processing. This is what the field equipment picked up. Be careful of that bass!
Total Time 127:48
enjoy the show, pick up the new record, go see some concerts.
Lindsey will be on working hard for a few years, so you should have a good chance.
