Notes (from bootlegger):
Recorded from the seats on the left side, quite close to the stage (about 15 meters I guess) and in line with the PA. Fortunately no annoying whistlers around me, just some clapping here and there which I partially managed to remove. The older the audience, the better for your recording..........looking at the audience around me I felt really young that night :-) ! This is probably the best sounding show I've recorded so far in that arena which usually has a sh*t sound but then, I also had very good seats so that might also be a reason.
Some volume balancing and some mastering done (according to my personal taste) but all in all I tried to keep this recording as close to the original as possible. Please be sure to check out the samples before downloading.
Here's one of my very few non Hard Rock / Heavy Metal concerts that I recorded over the years. The tickets were a birthday gift for my wife who is a big Stevie Nicks fan so, for me it was an occasion to see some living legends from a genre other than HR/HM. As I was not very familiar with their material apart from their hits, there were some parts of the show where I got a bit bored but in the end I didn't regret going. Lindsay Buckingham alone was worth the ticket price. His guitar playing is not from this world and absolutely jaw dropping to say the least. I have never seen anything like that before. This guy outplayed at least 90% of all Hardrock and Metal guitarists I have seen in my life. Unbelievable !
I transferred this show just recently so it s completely uncirculated. I don't know how the quality compares to the other recording which is still on the tra'cker. Hope you like it anyway.
Equipment: CA 14 cardioids => Church Preamp CA-9100 => Sony TCD D8 Encoding/Checksums/Fingerprints created with Traders Little Helper
All mastering / track splitting / fades / down sampling done with WaveLab 6.0
Enjoy !
